Common concerns

Gmail filters

IMAP injection does not trigger Gmail filters, since Gmail considers the message "already there" as opposed to "newly delivered". However, you can usually filter upstream at your provider, instructing them to forward to a different MagicForward address based on your desired criteria. You then set up these MagicForward addresses to point to the same gmail account, with distinct labels.

Inbox delivery

We do not support inbox delivery at this time. Each Magic forwarding address goes to a single non-inbox folder that is created by MagicForward at setup time. If inbox delivery is important to you, please email sam@support.magicforward.email and we will count your "vote" in favor of implementing it.
